Best Dressed at the 2022 SAG Awards


 With the return of the in-person awards show comes the triumphant return of the best dressed lists.

   After a pushback of a few weeks due to the Omicron variant, the Screen Actors Guild Awards, now in its 28th year, were held on Sunday in Los Angeles, and brought out many celebrities in their fashionabkle best.

  So who was the best? The trends from the night were super clear; first was lots of old Hollywood revisited (Alexandra Daddario's glam look and daring neckline, va-va-voom glamour from Lady Gaga, Hailee Steinfeld, Vanessa Hudgens and Elle Fanning, and Major Jewellery from Lady Gaga, Cynthnia Erivo, Ariana Debose + More). The next biggest trend was Black, black, black: Hoyeon Jung, Demi Singleton, Hailee Steinfeld, Rosario Dawson, Cate Blanchett, Selena Gomez , Nicole Kidman, Emilia Jones and Naomi Watts, to name a few. And finally, Pops of Red ruled the runway, seen on Caitriona baife, Cynthia Erivo and Kristen Dunst.

Cynthia Erivo

Stole the show in a striking custom fire engine red Louis Vuitton look, styled by Jason Bolden. Her Vinyl gown was topped with a dramatic faux fur cape that added drama to the entire look.

Cate Blanchett:

Styled by Elizabeth Stewart, opted for a custom Armani black gown with a dramatic deep neckline, which was embellished with shiny black geometric shapes. she paired the dress with a deep side part and pomellato Jewellery.

Demi Singleton:


who stars as Serena Williams in 'King Richard' wore a custom Celine dress, styled by Jason Bolden. She gave the look the perfect youthful touch by pairing it with sheer bkack socks and Strappy silver sandals.

Ariana DeBose:


who stars in the 'West Side Story' rocked an electric pink Valentino spring 2022 couture gown, which she paired with a diamond choker necklace. The look was styled by Zadrian Smith and Sarah Edmiston.

Rick Ross replaces Burna Boy at Afro Nation

  The American Superstar rapper "Rick Ross has replaced Burna Boy at the Afro Nation in Puerto Rico. The replacement was speedily effected after Burna Boy's team informed organisers that he will not be able to attend the show.   On March 24, Burna Boy announced on his social  media platform that he will be missing the Afro Nation Festival in Puerto Rico due to unavoidable personal reasons.   He expressed disappointment over the development but promised to make it up to everyone affected by the news.  "I'm extremely gutted that i won't be at Afro Nation Puerto Rico due to circumstance beyond ANYONE'S control. I'll make it up to you all for sure!! The Kardashians ask Court to Dismiss Blac Chyna's Claims

  The Kardashian /Jenner family has asked the Los Angeles Superior Court to dismiss Blac Chyna's economic and emotional distress claims in her lawsuit against them, describing these claims as 'absurd'. People Magazine reports that according to court documents obtained, the family's attorney, Michael G. Rhodes, had argued that Chyna whose real name 'Angela White' offered ''no documentary evidence, economic analysis, or expert testimony'' to support her claims.
