  Johnny Depp was dropped from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" Franchise because of the domestic abuse allegations made by Amber Heard, his former Hollywood agent said Wednesday, backing up the actor's claim against his ex-wife. "My opinion is that it was related to the accusations that Amber has made, "Christian Carino, who works for Creative Arts Agency, said in a videotaped deposition in the defamation suit filed by Depp against Heard. Depp filed a defamation case against Heard over a column she wrote for the Washington Post in December 2018 in which she described herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse." The 36-year-old Heard never named the 58-year-old Depp but he sued her for implying that he was a domestic abuser and is seeking $50 million in damages. The Taxes-born Heard countersued, asking for $100 million and claiming she suffered "rampant physical violence and abuse" at his hands. Depp filed the defamation complaint

 Drake has been dropped from the 'No Guidance Copyright Lawsuit. Last December, Drake and Chris Brown were sued for copyright infringement by a pair of songwriters, Brandon Cooper and Timothy Valentine, who allege the song steals from their 2016 track 'I Love your Dress'. However, Drake was dropped from the lawsuit on Wednesday, while Cooper and Valentine will continue their case against Brown and Sony Music Entertainment. "It is hereby ordered and adjusted that defendant Aubrey Drake Graham known as Drake is dismissed with prejudice and without costs or attorneys' fees as against ant party," the court documents read. "In dismissing this case, the court notes that Mr. Graham started from the bottom-being named as a defendant-now we're here-a dismissal with prejudice."   Netflix has reportedly cancelled superhero series Raising Dion just months after its second season aired. The Series based on a comic book of the same name by Dennis Liu first premiered in 2019 and ended with its second and last season, which premiered in February 2022. Announcing the news, cast member Sammi Haney wrote on Instagram, "Sad to say that Raising Dion is CANCELLED [sic] Thank you for all of the amazing support we got from all of our wonderful fans! Season 2 was a success, equal to Season 1, even if just looking at how many people watched all of it and wanted a Season 3!" Revealing the details in a video posted to her YouTube, Hailey noted that she wanted to tell the story in "her own words". Describing feeling a "weird sensation" in her right arm while having breakfast with her husband, she said her fingertip felt "numb and weird". While trying to respond to Justin, who asked if she was okay, she found that she "couldn't speak".   The Rolling Loud Festival has announced popular Nigerian music star Wizkid as a headliner performer. The Music festival which extends to Miami, New York and Southern California announced its Toronto instalment with other artists like Future, Dave , Lil Uzi Vert, Migos, Trippie Redd and many more. The festival making a first time entry to Canada and will take place from 9th to the 11th of September. The festival will run for three days. Dave will headline the opening night on September 9th, Future will follow up with his performance on Saturday, September 10th while Wizkid closes out the three-days festival on September 11th. Popular Nigerian comedian and actor Bovi Ugboma, Known as Bovi, says he has been banned from entering the United States. Bovi said he was banned from the country after clashing with a visa-issuing officer. He revealed this on Tuesday while responding to questions from fans after he hosted a Q&A segment on his Instagram. A Fan had invited him to perform at Massachusetts, to which he replied, "I'm banned in the USA." Asked if he intended to leave the country, he replied, "I am a citizen of the world.
