 There are several store-bought and fancy beauty products that promises to work magic in clearing out pimples. Many of these products are quite expensive, some delivered the promised result, while some don't.

  Every woman wants to have the flawless and glowing skin that is blemish free, but it will be shocking to find out, what people have used in the past to clear out those skin breakouts.

Acne is a skin condition that occurs when the hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. it causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples.

1 Banana Peel:

Apparently, not only is it healthy to munch of its chewy goodness, but it can as well be use in treating acne and pimples. It has been proven that banana peel does work wonders for clearing acne. Research shows that it contains a chemical called Lutein and a host of other Vitamins and Minerals such as Vitamin A, B,C which helps curb inflammation and then cure acne.

  Direction: Wash the face with a cleanser and pat dry with a towel. Pick a small piece of Banana peel and rub it on the affected area until the inside of the peel turns brown. Leave it on for 30mins before rinsing with warm water. It can also leave overnight, while washing it off the next morning.

2 Potato:

This root crop is packed with potassium, sulphur, phosphorous and has been rumoured to perform wonders when it comes to acne. Potatoes contain Vitamin C which help even tone and reduce the appearance of dark spots and  hyperpigmentation caused by acne.

  Direction: Cut off a portion and rub the white part of the root on the pimple. Wash it off after some minutes. Also grate half a potato into a pulp and apply this pulp directly on the dark spots and wash it after 15-20 minutes.

3 Coal Tar:

The Coal tar is known to belong to a group of drugs called Keratoplastics. When applied to the skin it aids in shedding dead cells also slow down the growth of new ones. This way the skin avoids trapping bacteria that causes pimples.

4 Snail Slime:

It is dermatologists approve of Snail Slime clears out acne and sooth the skin. Revered for its regenerative properties, the snail slime is now widely acknowledged as it helps restoring damaged tissue and moisturise the skin.

5 Urine Therapy:

Gross right? but it might just be the ultimate cure to the skin breakout that is proving rather stubborn. its sound disgusting but using urine as a mask is a sure way to improve the condition of the skin.

  Direction: Rub the urine on the face and leave it for 10-20minutes then rinse off. the substance known as urea found in urine helps condition the skin against further breakouts.
