BAFTA AWARDS 2022: FULL LIST WINNERS

The award ceremony for the 2022 British Academy of Film and Television Arts(BAFTA) which took place on Sunday March 13.

   Dune- which went into the ceremony with 11 nominations, dominated the craft categories; winning five awards in total, including for cinematography, special visual effects, sound, original score and production design.

  The power of the Dog, which had eight nominations, won best film and best director.

   Also claiming two wins was CODA- for best- supporting actor (Troy Kotsur) and best original screenplay- and West Side Story, for supporting actress (Ariana Debose) and casting.

Best Casting:- West side Story, Cindy Tolan

Outstanding Debut by A British Writer, Director or Producer:- The Harder They Fall, Jeymes Samuel (writer/director)

EE Rising Star Award (voted by the public):- Lashana Lynch

Supporting Actress:- Ariana Debose, West side Story

Costume Design:- Cruella, Jenny Beavan

Film Not In the English Language:- Drive My Car

Supporting Actor:- Troy Kotsur, CODA

Best Special Visual Effects:- Dune, Brian Connor, Paul Lambert, Tristan Myles, Gerd Nefzer

Best Cinematography:- Dune, Greig Frase

Best Editing:- No Time To Die, Tom Cross, Elliot Graham

2022 Billboard Music Awards: Megan Thee Stallion, Red Hot Chili Peppers and More to Perform

 The Billboard Music Awards are bringing your favourites to the stage! The first set of performers for this year's award show were announced on April 19, including Megan Thee Stallion and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Megan Thee stallion is set to make her Billboard Music Award debut at the event, which takes place at Las Vegas MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 15. In addition to her performance, the 27-year-old rapper is also a finalist for the Top Rap Female Artist, the same category she won the Billboard Music Award for in 2021.
