BAFTA AWARDS 2022: FULL LIST WINNERS

The award ceremony for the 2022 British Academy of Film and Television Arts(BAFTA) which took place on Sunday March 13.

   Dune- which went into the ceremony with 11 nominations, dominated the craft categories; winning five awards in total, including for cinematography, special visual effects, sound, original score and production design.

  The power of the Dog, which had eight nominations, won best film and best director.

   Also claiming two wins was CODA- for best- supporting actor (Troy Kotsur) and best original screenplay- and West Side Story, for supporting actress (Ariana Debose) and casting.

Film Not In the English Language:- Drive My Car

Olamide, Psquare light up Glo Battle of the Year

  Entertainment lovers were treated to an evening of dance, music and comedy as the sponsor of Nigeria's biggest dance competition and telecommunications services provider, Globacom, held the semi-finals of the much anticipated 'Glo Battle of the YearNigeria National Finals' in Lagos. According to a statement from the firm on Sunday, the Mega live event, which was held at The Eko Convention Centre,, had dance lovers at the venue anticipating an evening of unlimited entertainment hours before the show officially began. Netflix debuts the AMVCA Nominee Bolanle Austen Peters's Film "The Man of God"

  The Netflix Film is originally set to premiere on April 16, 2022. Netflix has released an official first-look at its newest Nigerian original feature film "The Man Of God" produced by Bolanle Austen Peters BAP Production. Starring Akah Nnani in the lead role, the film follows the story of a young man torn between accepting his torturous religious background and living his own life.  "The Man of God" Trailer teasers the character's whirlwind life from music to ministry before his well built life crashes. There are also hints of murder and intense drama. According to the director, Austen Peters, the film promises to finally give subcribers a praiseworthy film.
